Our lovely Admin member Adam Jak Richardson, who raised a massive £5060 during his Mayoral term in Coleshill, has donated £2,530 to The Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
Adam said..
“Having had to use the Air Ambulance myself in 1999, I know that it is vital we keep this life saving service going.
Having raised this money as Mayor, it just goes to show that people believe in this cause.
I was highly honoured to be able to hand over this cheque and know that it will help someone else, just as the Air Ambulance helped me all those years ago.
But my fundraising does not stop here, though I may no longer be doing fundraising as Mayor, my support will be for life, in the hope that we can keep the Air Ambulance in the air forevermore, continuing to save lives.”
